Head of (Student) Admissions

You will lead and manage the Admissions team of United World College Maastricht. The Head of Admissions provides leadership, training and guidance to the team, oversees the day-to-day operations and bears final responsibility for all Admissions decisions.

The Admissions team, consisting of the Head of Admissions and 3 additional admissions officers, provides a high quality service to potential day students (ages 4-18) and their families, to UWC National Committees as well as the Global Selection team for students applying to the residential program (ages 16-18).

The team cooperates with both Primary and Secondary Leadership, the Finance department, Residential, Academic and Wellbeing directors and Heads of Year as well as Heads of Departments.
There are many external stakeholders: UWC International, all other UWC schools and other (Dutch) International schools in the area.
The Admissions team works closely with the Maastricht Municipality team and the IND(Dutch Immigration Services).
Other stakeholders would be sponsors and companies/organisations that support their employees’ applications to our school.
