UWC Maastricht offers the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme to students age 11 till age 16.
International Baccalaureate (IB) is a worldwide, nonprofit education programme founded to give all students the opportunity to receive an education fit for a globalizing world. It provides a framework of academic challenge and life skills, in order to become critical and reflective thinkers. We encourage our students to embrace and understand the connections between traditional school subjects and the real world.
Curriculum
Students in our Middle Years Programme follow a broad based academic curriculum and study eight subject areas. We teach them the knowledge, skills and understanding to allow them to progress to IB-Diploma Programme.
Beyond the Classroom
We are proud of our co- and extra-curricular programmes and initiatives: after school clubs, music lessons, projects and community services ensure our students flourish not only inside the classroom, but also outside.
Apply
Admissions for our Middle Years Programme must be in line with the Dutch law on International Education. You can apply up to one year before the expected starting date. We have rolling admissions from September to May.
Fees
UWC Maastricht relies on parental fees to offer its robust educational programme. The Middle Years Programme school fee for year 2024-2025 is €11.070.
