Students ready to leave

This past weekend, 26 students took part in the Haarlem Model United Nations (HMUN) conference at the Stedelijk Gymnasium in Haarlem. They joined around 600 other delegates from various countries to represent different nations and discuss international issues.

Throughout the weekend, students engaged in structured debates, delivered speeches and asked Points of Information. Special congratulations to our students Mads and Lluis, who were named Best Delegates for their contributions during the sessions! The trip offered opportunities to practise skills such as critical thinking, public speaking and collaboration.

At UWC Maastricht, we are now preparing for our own conference, MaasMUN, which will take place from the 6th to the 8th of June. We are looking for volunteers, sponsors, host families and delegates. If you’re interested in helping out, please get in touch via info@uwcmaastricht.nl
