IBCP Track In Music

March 13, 2023

UWC Maastricht is very excited to announce that from September 2023, we will be offering a second track for International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) students! In addition to the current option in Business and Sustainability, talented musicians aspiring to a career or further studies in Music will be able to audition for a place on the Junior Classical or Jazz programmes with our educational partner, the Conservatorium Maastricht.

Successful applicants will take weekly lessons with the Conservatorium and be involved with workshops, masterclasses, rehearsals and performances to improve their musicianship. These will happen mainly on Saturdays, leaving most of the rest of the week free to study a choice of IB Diploma subjects and complete the IBCP core components. As a well-established educational institution, the Conservatorium will endorse this IBCP track, setting up students to apply to music schools around the world if they wish to further their studies.

Talented musicians interested in discovering more about this study track should contact our Admissions Office as soon as possible.
