YSE 2023 – WANTED: Alumni co-facilitators and theme experts!

July 13, 2022

Next school year we will be entering our 8th edition of the Youth Social Entrepreneurship (YSE) Program. Among the novelties this past year we had new themes, some new staff and alumni facilitators, a pilot with 11 new local organisations providing challenges that teams took on and most importantly, for the first time ever, the YSE projects were actually implemented during the April Project Week!

The feedback from both students and organisations has been very positive and planning is already underway to provide an even better and more exciting YSE 2023.

Co-facilitators

Would you like to be part of this program for the training phase in January or would you like more information about it? We are looking for 10 alumni with experience in our respective 10 YSE themes, who would like to co-facilitate with our YSE staff team.

Transport (for students staying already in Netherlands, Belgium, Germany or who can travel by train/bus) is covered, accommodation and food are offered for 1 week. Online training will take place in early October, probably during a weekend (dates tbc). The training phase with the students in which you would be involved here at UWC Maastricht goes from Wednesday 18 January at 3:30pm to Wednesday 25 January at 3:30pm.

Theme experts

Of course, if you are a researcher or work with an organisation related to any of our YSE themes you are very welcome to join us (also online) to support the preparations, with networking or even connecting online to present/discuss issues with the students during the training phase of the Program.

If you are interested in any form of collaboration with the YSE Program 2023, please fill in this form.
