Exploring Sustainability: From AI to Fashion to Hospitality
June 18, 2025
Over the past weeks, students in our Career-related Programme (CP) specialising in Business and Sustainability have been exploring what sustainability looks like across different industries—through real-world experiences and inspiring encounters.
- Guest Lecture by Lisa Zimmerman
We were pleased to welcome Lisa Zimmerman for a session on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Artificial Intelligence and Renewable Energy. Her talk helped students connect global challenges with innovative solutions and sparked valuable discussions about the future of sustainable technology. - Field Trip to the New Order of Fashion Lab, Eindhoven
During their visit to the NOoF Lab, students explored the environmental impact of the fashion industry and participated in two creative workshops: one focused on upcoming garment trends and another on clothing repair. The experience encouraged critical thinking about circular fashion and the importance of informed, hands-on action. - Visit to Château St. Gerlach
Students also visited Château St. Gerlach, where they gained insights into sustainable hospitality practices. From using local ingredients and conserving nature to protecting cultural heritage and reducing energy use, the visit showed how sustainability and quality can go hand in hand in the world of luxury hospitality.
Does this sound like something for you? The Career-related Programme is open to students aged 16 and up, including Dutch youth looking for an international and future-focused alternative to traditional education.
