UWC Maastricht has a part time (0.5) vacancy for a caretaker/concierge, who would love to work in our vibrant community, is hands-on, flexible and an excellent team worker. A good level of Dutch is required and also a basic level of English.
We need a new colleague per August 15, 2025.
The job
This role will be part of the school’s facility team. The team consists of caretakers, receptionists and a Facilities Manager. You will have a fixed schedule during the week but due to the nature of the job, the work hours can sometimes be on weekends or over holidays.
Tasks
The tasks are a varied package of a combination of small maintenance work, tasks around security and safety, Service to staff and students and some administrative tasks.

The successful profile & qualifications
- Proven work experience as a caretaker/concierge or similar role.
- Friendly approach to people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Excellent team worker.
- Technical skills.
- Adaptable to new responsibilities.
- Basic English speaking is required.
- A drivers licence B is required.
- A valid BHV and first aid certificate is desirable.

- A part time position: 0.5 FTE (approximately 20 hours per week).

- A salary based on scale 5, being between € 2439,- and € 3262,- based on experience and a fulltime contract. This is complemented by a strong benefits package.
