UWCM and Ewals Cargo Care: Connecting Education and Business

We had the pleasure of welcoming Debbie Vlamings from Ewals Cargo Care (ECC) to our campus.

As proud supporters of our scholarship programme, ECC helps make it possible for students from all over the world to study at UWC Maastricht, regardless of their background. During their visit, Debbie shared the inspiring story of ECC, a family-run logistics company with more than 100 years of history and a strong focus on social responsibility, sustainability and diversity. From innovative trailer-train systems to prioritising driver wellbeing, ECC shows what sustainable logistics can look like.

Our students left inspired by their story and, in turn, shared how the UWC experience is shaping their own dreams and ambitions.
