Sannerijn Jansen appointed as interim Head of College

The Board of UWC Maastricht has appointed Sannerijn Jansen as interim Head of College of UWC Maastricht as of 1 August.

The Board is pleased to welcome Sannerijn to UWC Maastricht. She brings extensive experience in educational leadership, governance and international education. She has worked in both Dutch and international educational contexts and has a strong background in leading schools through periods of change and transition. She currently fulfils an interim leadership role at IB World School Laar & Berg and previously served as rector and Head of School. The Board believes that her experience in strengthening collaboration, creating organisational stability and supporting educational communities makes her well placed to guide UWC Maastricht into the new school year.

This appointment follows the departure of Viki Stiebert as Head of College. The Board thanks Viki once again for her dedicated leadership and wishes her all the best in her new role at Frankfurt International School in Wiesbaden.

UWC Maastricht is currently closed for the summer break. We look forward to welcoming the community back after the break and to working with Sannerijn in the new academic year.
